1. Our Philosophy on Privacy

Remi is built as a local-first iOS application. Your personal memos, countdown dates, daily to-dos, and habit streaks belong to you. We do not require you to create an account, we do not run external servers that read your tasks, and we never sell your data.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

All memos, checklists, subtasks, habit streaks, and preferences you create in Remi are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple’s native SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud Backup on your device, your local app data is backed up directly through your personal Apple iCloud account under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

3. iOS Permissions (Live Activities & Notifications)

Remi uses Apple’s ActivityKit and App Intents frameworks solely to display your active memo and todo cards on your iPhone Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, and to let you check off tasks without unlocking your phone. Local notifications (UserNotifications) are scheduled on-device to deliver exact-time alerts and countdown reminders you set.

4. App Store & Payments

Any optional in-app purchases or subscriptions are processed directly by Apple via the App Store (StoreKit 2). We never access or store your credit card, Apple Pay, or billing details.

5. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We may receive anonymized, aggregate crash logs and device diagnostics via App Store Connect to improve stability. These logs never contain the text of your memos or tasks.

6. Data Deletion

Because your data lives locally on your iPhone, deleting items inside Remi or uninstalling the app permanently erases your local database.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Remi iOS app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

2. App Features & Usage

Remi provides Lock Screen memos, countdowns, interactive daily todo checklists, habit streak tracking, and subtask management via iOS Live Activities and Dynamic Island. You are responsible for maintaining your device’s iOS notification and Live Activity permissions.

3. Apple App Store Billing & Cancellation

If you purchase any optional premium features through the App Store, billing is handled directly by your Apple ID account:

• Recurring plans automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refund requests are handled directly by Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Intellectual Property

The Remi name, Lock Screen interface, code, and pastel mint-green ghost mascot illustrations are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own.

5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Remi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Lock Screen Live Activities and notifications depend on iOS system settings, Focus modes, and battery state; Remi is not intended for medical or safety-critical alerts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.
